DESIGN FEATURES

DOUBLE EXPANDING GATE VALVE.

  1. Design in accordance with API-6D and ISO-14313.
  2. Completely continuous flow to minimize pressure drop and allow inspection or cleaning tools (pigs) through.
  3. Two-piece shutter consisting of gate and expansion segment (expandable).
  4. Standard internal arrangement with soft rubber gaskets, chosen depending on service conditions (pressure, temperature).
  5. Standard internal arrangement with metal-to-metal seals or double seals (PMSS) available upon request.
  6. Plug (gate and segment), stem and seat rings coated with ENP (Electroless Nickel Platted) with a minimum thickness of 0.003" for increased wear resistance.
  7. Hinged arm guides in 304 stainless steel material.
  8. Arm drive screws in 17-4pH H-1150 material for increased mechanical strength.
  9. Double block and bleed (DBB).
  10. Bidirectional seats.
  11. Handwheel operation on small diameters and gear operator on large diameters.
  1. Lubricant / sealant injectors in SS-304 material connected to the seat rings.
  2. Tiger Pack type sealant injector in SS-304 material connected to the packing chamber.
  3. NPS 2 - NPS 48 diameters.
  4. RF or RTJ finishes in accordance with ASME B16.5 from NPS 1 to NPS 24; for NPS 26 and larger valves, ASME B16.47 Series A flanges as standard.
  5. For WE end valves in accordance with ASME B16.25.
  6. Flange end spacing in accordance with API-6D (Table C.1) Valve dimensions not listed in API-6D in accordance with ASME B16.10.
  7. Classes 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500 #.
  8. Suitable for corrosive service in accordance with NACE MR-01-75 or NACE MR-01-03.
  9. Flame-retardant design under API-6FA ("Standard for Fire Test for Valves") and API-607 ("Fire Test for Quarter Turn Valves and Valves Equipped with Non-Metallic Seals").
  10. Overpressure release and bypass device.
