    DESIGN FEATURES

SIDE ENTRY TRUNNION BALL VALVE (trunnion mounted).

    1. Design in accordance with API-6D and ISO-14313 side entry style.
    2. Bolted or fully welded body model.
    3. Completely continuous flow to minimize pressure drop and allow inspection or cleaning tools (pigs) through.
    4. Standard internal arrangement is supplied with a ball type plug, stem and seat rings coated with ENP (non-electrolytic nickel) with a minimum thickness of 0.003" for increased wear resistance. Other internal arrangements are available.
    5. Seats for soft gaskets (inserts); manufactured from elastomers chosen according to service conditions (pressure-temperature).
    6. Spring-loaded dynamic seat rings.
    7. Standard internal arrangement with metal-to-metal seals or double seals (PMSS) available upon request.
    8. Double block and bleed (DBB).
    9. Unidirectional (SPE), bidirectional (DPE) or mixed seats.
    10. Antistatic device to avoid electrostatic charges (sparks) that may cause fire.
    11. Handling operation on small diameters and gear operator on large diameters.
    1. Lubricant/sealant injectors connected to the seat rings made of SS-304 material (from NPS 6 in class 150 and 300 and from NPS 4 in class 600).
    2. Sealant injector in SS-304 material connected to the packing chamber.
    3. Ejection-proof stem.
    4. NPS 2 - NPS 60 diameters.
    5. RF or RTJ finishes in accordance with ASME B16.5 from NPS 1 to NPS 24; for NPS 26 and larger valves, ASME B16.47 Series A flanges as standard.
    6. WE ends in accordance with ASME B16.25.
    7. Flange end spacing in accordance with API-6D Valve dimensions not listed in API-6D in accordance with ASME B16.10.
    8. Classes 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500 #.
    9. Suitable for corrosive service in accordance with NACE MR-01-75 or NACE MR-01-03.
    10. Flame-retardant design under API-6FA ("Standard for Fire Test for Valves") and API-607 ("Fire Test for Quarter Turn Valves and Valves Equipped with Non-Metallic Seals").
